Budget Committee

Overview

The Budget Committee is comprised of 12 members who are elected at-large from the Town.  Members serve a three year term without compensation with four member's terms expiring each year.

The Budget Committee elects among themselves  a chair and vice chair at their first meeting of the newly elected Committee.

The Budget Committee’s function is to make definite recommendations on all warrant articles presented to them by the Board of Selectmen excepting those pertaining to the election or appointment of town officers.
